When it comes to securing your pool area without compromising on elegance, durability or modern design, nothing compares to professionally installed glass swimming pool fencing. For more than 30 years, Absolut Custom Glass Systems has been the Gold Coast’s most trusted name in frameless and semi-frameless pool fencing, delivering architectural-quality installations that elevate homes, enhance safety and significantly increase property value.
Led by owner and specialist designer Jason Walsh, Absolut has built a reputation for uncompromising quality, flawless workmanship and solutions that stand the test of time. Whether your goal is safety compliance, a luxury aesthetic, or maximising your views, Absolut delivers pool fencing systems that outperform every other material on the market.
Why Glass Pool Fencing Is the Gold Coast’s #1 Choice
Swimming pool fencing is not just a requirement — it’s an opportunity to transform your outdoor space. Traditional fencing materials like timber, aluminium or steel can obstruct views, weather poorly, require constant maintenance, and distract from your landscaping. Modern homeowners across the Gold Coast overwhelmingly choose glass for its blend of beauty, safety and long-term return on investment.
✔ Uninterrupted Views
12mm toughened safety glass provides a clean, transparent barrier that allows you to enjoy your pool, garden, views and surrounding architecture without distraction. Unlike metal or timber, glass visually expands the space rather than enclosing it.
✔ Meets & Exceeds Queensland Safety Compliance
All Absolut installations strictly comply with Queensland pool fencing legislation, ensuring your pool area is secure, child-resistant and fully certified. Every project includes exact compliance spacing, gate self-closing mechanisms, hardware chosen for durability, and correct clearances as required under Australian Standards.
✔ Unmatched Durability in Coastal Conditions
The Gold Coast environment is harsh — humidity, heat, UV exposure and salt air rapidly deteriorate cheaper materials. Our toughened safety glass is corrosion-proof, weather-resistant and designed to remain crystal clear for decades. Stainless-steel hardware (316L and 2205 duplex) ensures maximum longevity even in coastal suburbs.
✔ Easy Maintenance
No rust. No repainting. No warping. Glass fencing requires minimal maintenance and stays visually pristine with a quick clean every so often. This is ideal for busy households and holiday homes.
✔ Increases Property Value
A well-designed glass pool fence adds immediate visual appeal and modern luxury, resulting in measurable improvements to property valuation. Homes with frameless glass fencing consistently sell faster and at higher price points due to the premium aesthetic and the buyer demand for low-maintenance landscaping.
Our Swimming Pool Fencing Systems
Every pool area is different, which is why Absolut offers a complete range of fencing systems — each engineered for a specific application and visual style. Whether you’re building a new pool or upgrading an existing one, we provide tailored solutions to suit your site, your budget and your design goals.
1. Frameless Glass Pool Fencing
Frameless systems are the pinnacle of luxury pool fencing. Strong, minimalistic and visually stunning, they create the cleanest and most modern look available. Panels appear to float, supported by precision-engineered hardware designed for minimal visual presence.

2. Semi-Frameless Glass Pool Fencing
A cost-effective alternative that still offers exceptional visibility and style. Semi-frameless fencing uses slim aluminium posts to support the panels while maintaining an open, contemporary aesthetic.

Installation Styles
Spigot-Mounted Glass Pool Fencing
This popular installation style uses stainless-steel spigots to support the glass and create a floating effect. Options include:
- Core-drilled spigots (maximum strength for concrete)
- Base-plate spigots (ideal for decks, patios and balconies)
- Face-mounted spigots (saving space and enhancing balcony views)
Fully Frameless Spigot Options
Visible Channel Fix
Glass panels slot into an aluminium channel fixed to a concrete surface. This provides a strong structural base and a crisp linear design.
Invisible Channel Fix
The highest-end minimalist option, where glass appears to rise directly from the ground. This system hides all hardware and delivers a premium architectural finish.
Bent & Curved Glass Pool Fencing
Bent and curved glass creates a dramatic, sculptural effect. Ideal for curved pools, organic landscaping and architecturally designed homes. Absolut specialises in precisely engineered curved glass — a rare capability in the industry.
Safety: The Most Important Feature
While glass fencing elevates the look of your pool area, its primary purpose is safety — and Absolut never compromises on this. Our fencing systems offer:
- Full compliance with QLD pool safety laws
- Self-closing, self-latching gates
- Non-climbable surfaces and gaps
- Certified installation by trained professionals
- High-strength 12mm toughened safety glass
Every installation is inspected meticulously to ensure complete compliance and long-term safety for children, guests and pets.
Your Return on Investment (ROI)
Glass pool fencing is one of the few home improvements that delivers immediate and long-term value. The key ROI benefits include:
✔ Higher Property Valuation
Real estate data consistently shows that homes with premium outdoor upgrades — especially frameless glass pool fencing — sell faster and at higher values due to their modern appearance and perceived luxury.
✔ Reduced Maintenance Costs
No repainting. No rust removal. No panel replacement. Glass fencing offers a low lifetime cost compared to aluminium or timber, which degrade quickly in humid or coastal environments.
✔ Longer Lifespan
Correctly installed glass systems last decades. Your initial investment continues to pay off long after cheaper fencing materials would have required replacement.
✔ Improved Safety & Insurance Compliance
Compliant pool fencing reduces risks and may contribute to improved insurance outcomes, depending on your insurer’s policies.
✔ Enhanced Lifestyle Appeal
A visually stunning outdoor space significantly enhances lifestyle enjoyment — a non-financial but highly valuable return for Gold Coast homeowners.
