If you’re searching for reliable, experienced pool fencing installers on the Gold Coast, you’re not just looking for someone to “put up a fence.” You’re trusting a company with the safety of your family, the look of your outdoor area, and the long-term value of your property. That’s why so many Gold Coast homeowners choose Absolut Custom Glass.
As the original glass pool fencing specialists on the Gold Coast, Absolut has been designing and installing custom glass pool fences for more than 30 years. They are not a general fencing business that added glass later – glass is what they have lived and breathed from day one. Today, they are recognised as the leaders in the industry, with a 5-star Google rating and over 113 reviews to prove it.
Why Your Choice of Pool Fencing Installer Matters
At a glance, many pool fences can look similar. The real difference lies in how they are designed, engineered and installed. Choosing the wrong installer can leave you with ongoing problems:
- Non-compliant fencing that fails inspection
- Rusting or corroding hardware within a few years
- Gates that don’t close properly or slam loudly
- Poor alignment, uneven panels and visible fixings
- Leaks, cracking tiles or damaged concrete from bad drilling
A good installer does more than “make it stand up.” A specialist like Absolut Custom Glass considers:
- Pool safety laws and certification requirements
- Wind loads and site exposure
- Surface levels and drainage
- Long-term corrosion resistance in coastal conditions
- Alignment, symmetry and architectural lines
That’s the difference between a fence that just passes inspection, and a glass installation that looks incredible, works flawlessly and lasts for decades.

Types of Glass Pool Fencing Absolut Installs
As dedicated pool fencing installers on the Gold Coast, Absolut offers a complete range of systems to suit different properties, budgets and design tastes.
Frameless Glass Pool Fencing
The premium choice for a true resort-style finish. Frameless glass uses 12mm toughened safety glass supported by spigots or channel systems, creating a near-invisible barrier that keeps the space open and bright.
Semi-Frameless Glass Pool Fencing
Semi-frameless fencing combines glass panels with slimline posts, providing a clean and modern look at a more budget-friendly price point. It’s a popular choice for families wanting glass but looking to keep overall costs sensible.
Semi-Frameless Glass Pool Fencing
Spigot-Mounted Glass
Using small, strong “feet” called spigots, these installations give glass panels a floating effect. Absolut offers several spigot types including:
- Core-drilled spigots – set directly into concrete for maximum strength
- Base-plate spigots – ideal for existing decks and balconies
- Face-mounted spigots – perfect where space on the surface is limited
Channel Fix Systems
For a more continuous, architectural look, channel systems allow glass panels to sit inside an aluminium channel that is either visible or recessed. These installations are extremely strong and particularly suited to designer homes.
Curved & Custom Glass
For more complex or high-end projects, Absolut also installs bent and curved glass designed to follow the shape of the pool or balcony. This is highly specialised work that only experienced glass installers should attempt.
What Makes Absolut Different From Other Pool Fencing Installers?
Plenty of companies can offer a quote, but very few can match Absolut’s depth of experience and proven results. Here’s what sets them apart from the pack:
1. True Glass Specialists
Absolut isn’t a general fencing company or a handyman service. They’ve been working with glass, hardware and pool safety legislation for decades. That level of focus means better design decisions and fewer problems down the track.
2. Premium Glass and Hardware
All installations use 12mm toughened safety glass and marine-grade stainless steel hardware, ideal for the Gold Coast’s coastal environment. Cheap hardware is where many installations fail over time – Absolut refuses to cut corners.
3. Soft-Close, Self-Closing Gates
Every pool gate needs to close and latch automatically. Absolut takes it further by using soft-close systems that avoid gate slamming, increase safety and protect hardware from unnecessary impact.
4. Lifetime Structural Warranty
Absolut backs their work with a lifetime structural warranty, giving you confidence that your fence has been installed to last, not just to pass inspection.
5. Compliance and Certification Handled For You
Navigating local council requirements can be frustrating. Absolut works with you and your pool safety inspector to ensure your fence meets all relevant standards and compliance rules, helping streamline the certification process.
6. Professional, Respectful Installers
The team treats every property with respect. Jobs are completed cleanly, with minimal disruption, and communication is clear from quote through to final inspection.
