Absolut Custom Glass recently completed this internal curved glass balustrade on a staircase landing with the end result being striking to say the least. Fixed with stand-offs, looking at the glass from inside the stairwell gives a unique perspective as the glass runs past the edge of the staircase landing showing no fixtures, giving the balustrade an infinity look.
One of the main attractive features of an internal glass balustrade is that light is allowed to light up areas which would be otherwise shaded by timber and other types of solid balustrades.
Absolut Custom Glass has been working with bent and curved glass for many years and can be used in both internal and external glass fencing applications.
Curved glass looks great when used as fencing to follow the radius of a curved edge. This includes curved balconies, spiral staircases, curved swimming pool, and round spas and voids. Curved glass when used in these types of scenarios can perfectly complement the area; allowing light to pass through as well as providing a safe and secure fencing solution.
